Directions from Thousand OaksThe Conejo Valley — Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, and the ranch communities in between — is a short, easy drive to 805 Live Scan. From The Oaks or the Civic Arts Plaza, take US-101 north past the Conejo Grade and exit at Carmen Drive; the trip is about twenty minutes, and from Newbury Park closer to fifteen. The Conejo Valley Unified School District and the Conejo Recreation & Park District together clear thousands of teachers, aides, coaches, camp counselors, and volunteers every year, and the district’s private and faith-based schools add many more. Nearly all of them arrive with the same document: a BCIA 8016 Request for Live Scan Service carrying the school’s ORI code. We verify the code, capture your prints on certified equipment, and transmit to the DOJ before you leave. Results typically reach the district within 48 to 72 hours.
Los Robles Regional Medical Center and the many medical and dental practices around it send us nurses, CNAs, technicians, and office staff clearing state licensing boards. Real estate agents, insurance agents, contractors, and notary applicants all pass through Live Scan on the way to their license. Thousand Oaks residents applying for a concealed carry permit through the Ventura County Sheriff will find their BCIA 8016 in the application packet — bring it with a valid photo ID and we will handle the submission.
The usual Live Scan options in Thousand Oaks are counters inside shipping and mail stores. 805 Live Scan does only fingerprinting and notary work, in a quiet studio, with the owner personally operating the equipment. There is no line behind you, no packages being weighed at the next register, and no guesswork about which government fee applies to your form. Walk in Tuesday through Friday, or reserve a time online and be in and out in about fifteen minutes.
