Directions from Simi ValleySimi Valley sits at the eastern edge of Ventura County, and the drive to 805 Live Scan follows the county’s most scenic commute: CA-118 west through Moorpark, past the farms around Somis, and down Las Posas Road into Camarillo — about 35 minutes from Simi Valley Town Center or the Reagan Library. For a private studio with walk-in hours, free parking, and no line, many Simi Valley residents find it well worth the trip, particularly when the local counters are booked out.
The Simi Valley Unified School District and the Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District are two of the largest sources of Live Scan requests in the east county. Teachers, aides, substitutes, coaches, camp counselors, and parent volunteers all arrive with the same document — a BCIA 8016 Request for Live Scan Service with the district’s ORI code — and we see a wave of them every August and again before spring sports. If your league or district needs to clear a dozen or more people at once, our mobile group service can come to Simi Valley and finish everyone in a single morning.
Adventist Health Simi Valley and the clinics around it send nurses, CNAs, and technicians through Live Scan for state licensing boards. Real estate agents, security guards clearing BSIS, contractors, IHSS caregivers, and notary applicants round out a typical week. Whatever the agency, the process is the same: we verify the ORI code on your form, capture your prints on certified equipment, transmit to the DOJ before you leave, and hand you an ATI number to track results.
Simi Valley residents applying for a CCW permit through the Ventura County Sheriff will find a Live Scan form in their application packet. Bring it with a valid state or government-issued photo ID; the DOJ and FBI fees for a CCW application are set by the state and collected with our $40 rolling fee at your visit.
Mobile notary appointments are available in Simi Valley for escrow and loan signings, powers of attorney, trusts, healthcare directives, and affidavits, with a modest travel fee based on distance. If you are already coming to the studio for Live Scan, notary work can be handled in the same visit.
