Down the 126 and through Somis — a private studio at the end of the drive.
805 Live Scan is a private, DOJ & FBI certified Live Scan fingerprinting and notary studio in Camarillo, CA, serving Fillmore and all of Ventura County. Walk-ins and appointments Tuesday through Friday, and after hours by arrangement.
About 35 minutes and 24 miles via CA-126 west to CA-118 through Santa Paula and Somis, then Las Posas Road. Free parking at the door, and most visits are finished in fifteen minutes, so a round trip from Fillmore fits inside a lunch hour.
Directions from FillmoreFillmore and Piru sit at the quiet eastern end of the Santa Clara River Valley, and Live Scan providers are scarce out here. 805 Live Scan is about 35 minutes away — CA-126 west to CA-118, through Santa Paula and the groves around Somis, then Las Posas Road into Camarillo. For a drive that long we make sure the visit is worth it: reserve a time online and you will be seen at that time, in a private room, with free parking at the building and your prints transmitted to the DOJ before you leave.
The Fillmore Unified School District, Piru Elementary, and the valley’s preschools, youth sports leagues, and after-school programs clear teachers, aides, coaches, and volunteers through Live Scan every year, with the busiest weeks in August and before each sports season. When a school or league needs to clear a group at once, our mobile service brings the equipment to Fillmore for five or more people and finishes everyone in a single session — no caravan down the 126.
Ventura County IHSS caregivers in Fillmore and Piru must clear a DOJ check before they can be enrolled and paid, and the Heritage Valley’s farms, packing houses, and trucking operations send supervisors and drivers through Live Scan for certain state licenses. Security guard applicants, home health aides, and families completing Resource Family Approval round out a typical month. We explain every government fee on the form, collect everything at your visit, and hand you an ATI number to track results, which most agencies receive within 48 to 72 hours.
Because the drive is longer, many Fillmore clients combine Live Scan with a notary appointment — powers of attorney, real estate and escrow documents, trusts, and healthcare directives — in the same visit. If you cannot travel, Diane offers mobile notary service to Fillmore and Piru with a travel fee based on distance.
