Directions from MoorparkMoorpark is one of the easiest drives to 805 Live Scan in the county: CA-118 west out of town, through the citrus and avocado groves around Somis, then Las Posas Road straight into Camarillo. Moorpark College’s nursing, child development, and animal science programs each require DOJ clearance before students begin placements, and every semester brings a new cohort with the same BCIA 8016 form and program ORI code. The Moorpark Unified School District, the city’s Parks & Recreation programs, and the Boys & Girls Club add teachers, aides, coaches, and volunteers throughout the year. We know these forms well, verify the ORI code before capturing your prints, and transmit to the DOJ before you leave.
Live Scan is a simple process when it is done carefully. Your prints are captured electronically on certified equipment — no ink, no cards — and submitted to the California Department of Justice, which forwards them to the FBI if your requesting agency asks for a federal check. You leave with an ATI number to track results, which most agencies receive within 48 to 72 hours.
Moorpark residents also come to us as IHSS caregivers, new real estate and insurance licensees, contractors, notary applicants, foster and adoptive families completing Resource Family Approval, and concealed carry applicants through the Ventura County Sheriff. Each agency sets its own DOJ and FBI processing fees, which are collected with our $40 rolling fee at your visit.
